Hello Dear Friends!

I thank and praise God for each one of you!

As many of you already know, I've been posted to East Timor for a period of six months to encourage the church here, especially the Youth and Young Adults...

All Blessing to the Lord as we remember the great things He has done! (Psalm 105:1)

We get to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the Victory Family Centre Dili Church this Sunday at 4pm. We'll be combining the Timorese (National) and International church members for the time of celebration. 

The youth will be presenting a drama with the theme "Set Me Free" by Casting Crowns.... We want to inspire each person in the church to break free---if they haven't already, from addictions and strongholds, so that they can set others free by the power of Jesus!

New Happenings

• I hope to do more with the Youth in the way of drama ministry, so that we can use it for outreach at the beach on Saturdays for sharing truth in a captivating way with youth and young adults who don't have their Hope and Peace in Jesus.
• We've recently begun a combined Youth/Young Adult Life group meeting at the church every Friday night at 6pm for our regular members.
• Our outreach at the beach will be the first three Saturdays of every month from 2pm-6pm and geared towards building friendship with pre-believers. 
• The fourth Saturday of every month will be a traditional gathering at the church for praise, worship, and the Word.

If you'd like to partner with me specifically in prayer for the Youth of VFC Dili, I would be greatly honored. 

I can see there is some resistance in our efforts to bring greater unity among the brothers and sisters in the Local and International congregations, but nothing that our prayers cannot overcome! Unity is our living witness to the transforming power of God within us (John 17:22-26)...

Prayer Points:

• "That they may be perfected in unity that the world may know that Thou didst send Me"
• Humility--- on behalf of both International and Timorese Nationals youth and young adults to humbly accept one another and learn from each other (myself included)
• Example---That I would set an example of Excellence (purity in thoughts/motivations, life and behavior) and that others would follow in my example as I follow Christ, and that each one would become a role model for their peers (Eph. 4:8)
• Ownership--that Youth and Young Adults would rise up and take their place in the body of Christ....each one working together to fulfill their God appointed role in this season
• Transformation--That each one of us would be transformed into the men and women of God that He has designed and created us to be...witnesses of His life and message and conduits of His glory
• Pray that the spiritual blindness of the pre-believers in Timor would be lifted in the Spiritual realm, so that the Light of the Gospel can shine in!
